Under the searing red glare of an illumination flare during a night raid, Kauven rounds the corner of the trenchline to find himself face-to-face with an opponent. He doesn't yet know that his rifle is jammed with mud. It's going to be a rough night.
This is my first proper piece of Kauven other than the ref. I will circle around to some other ideas before coming back to him, but I eventually mean to create a whole story about his world that may take the shape of a webcomic or something. This took me about 8 hours to make.
