The world of DeI is inhabited by two intelligent races: humans (the natural inhabitants of the world) and hybrids (artificially created beings, some of which are not intelligent, but the term "hybrid" usually refers to an intelligent being). In his homeland of IPC, hybrids and humans have equal rights, but he no longer lives there.
Turbo is a hybrid, not cruel by nature, though his morality is questionable. For a beast-like being in the UPR, hunting his own kind is almost the only way to survive. He isn’t thrilled about this line of work and prefers to avoid discussing it. Otherwise, he’s a pleasant fellow who doesn’t mind a good chat.

The second topic he avoids is his past before arriving in the UPR. He hails from the IPC, where he was known as Grasping, but for reasons unknown to the locals, he chose to leave his homeland. To this day, he remembers it with a sense of longing.
