Late May is when the Zenigawa family hosts their annual haru matsuri on their shrine grounds, and naturally, a certain pair of birds felt it was the perfect venue for a date. They’d been wanting to make their relationship more publicly known now, after all. At the same time, of course, both had let their weight climb during winter and still hadn’t quite finished shedding their seasonal flab yet. Not that either of them cared — each viewed the other as beautiful and both loved how much their added size enhanced their snuggles and makeouts! And to no one’s surprise, their equally enlarged appetites flared up in the presence of so much delicious festival food, Haneko’s especially. After a while, the java sparrow become more interested in gazing upon her girlfriend as she ate, nearly forgetting about her own food as she watched Haneko near-endlessly gulp down one snack after another, and she enjoyed every minute of it.
