reminds me of two different written works on similer idea to this,
one was the adult wolf was kind of an idiot and end up marrying and having kids with the sheep he had planned to eat
the other was the wolf and sheep were star-crossed teenage lovers.
that one had at least two different endings one good (they elope) and one bad (they are caught and killed)
