One of the original reference sheets for the common Falgrove critters Astrocat made some years ago.
This reference sheet is a quick look at the Moxap Flower, covering all the basics of the species.
The Moxap Flower is a carnivorous plant of considerable size, that lured prey to it's central gel-like dome by offering a sweet nectar on the surface of said dome. When a victim climbs up to the green gel to lick the nectar, they will eventually attempt to reach the nectar at the top of the dome, putting their paws on it. At this point the gel will slowly draw in the victim, who will find themselves within the gloopy confines. While the gel itself is actually a breathable fluid, if not rescued in time the fate of such victims is the same as any carnivorous plant, slowly turned into nutrients over days before fading away.
While perfectly able to hunt any small and medium creature, the Moxap Flower is known to mostly feed on the fox-like rodent Mox, a common Falgrove creature that has a particularly sweet tooth.
