One of the original reference sheets for the common Falgrove critters Astrocat made some years ago.
This reference sheet is a quick look at Cog Worms, covering all the basics of the species.
Cog Worms are a small, generally pathetic worm creature that thrive in the misty marshes of Falgrove, their size limited by humidity. However, when exposed to oils, grease or the like, they are able to produce a mist that enables them to keep growing until they are a terror, gobbling up beasts and folk of all sizes! Due to their ability to get into small spaces while young, and their uses for oils, they have a habit of being a Steampunk inventor's worst nightmare; just imagine coming home to your clockwork base to have your lair filled with giant maneating Cog Worms that sneaked through the smallest cracks!
Thankfully their use of oils is also a great weakness for Cog Worms: They are highly flammable!
