[CLC:BiOhaZaRd Protocol drabble] - Can your gods hear you?
Another quick very short drabble I wrote this morning while listening to a song I found
This one is about a canon AU known as the 'BiOhaZaRd Protocol' for my passion project story ^w^
A small bit of context: Malcolm's adoptive older brother is Fenris, one of many gods in my story...but what happens when Malcolm meets someone he thought was his brother in another alternate timeline?
"⬇ Same text as found in PDF ⬇ 💜"
The air was suffocating.
Malcolm tried to ignore the sounds...
The unnatural churn of gears against flesh where they were never meant to be as that thing moved past the cabinet he hid in.
"Come out, little cub! You know you have nowhere to hide from me!" It chanted, calling to him like a siren.
It's voice was wrong. Its cadence was mixed with artifacts that didn't belong, the tone too off to be its own vocal cords.
He tried to ignore how it shared the same voice of his brother, it shared his face...it was a twisted fun house mirror of when he first met him.
It was so close yet just far enough away.
It was almost his brother-
"Tell me, Child...Do you think your gods can hear your screams so far from home?"
-But his brother wasn't more machine than god.
