An amazing commission I was able to obtain from the lovely (and fantastic to work with) [knytebyteicon] of Aethary!

I desperately wanted a piece that accurately conveyed their appearance in a more realistic style, while also pulling from the three primary dinosaurs that guided their appearance into the alien amalgamation that they are. Stumbling across Knytebyte a few months ago was an incredible stroke of luck and I was so excited to see they had commissions open at the time. Of course I had to snag a slot as I felt they would be the perfect artist to bring Aethary (further) to life and, quite obviously, they absolutely achieved it!

I've turned this into my icon in so many places, even with their anatomy making it a little difficult to get their icon to properly fit without zooming in on their face like I did for the one for FA, hah.

Cannot recommend commissioning Knytebyte near enough. They're an absolute sweetheart and while I did not need anything to be changed throughout the process (their attention to detail is impeccable), they were more than happy to make any adjustments throughout the process if they were necessary. Alongside DragonHerder2030 and Wirwik, Knytebyte has become one of my favorite artists to work with. ;-;
