Kermode is a mostly background character, a mystic who can transform himself into a Spirit bear. He's a lot like the Hulk in that he mostly just wants to be left alone, but civil authorities generally percieve him as a monster that needs dealt with.

So I have finally broken my 5-year long dry spell. Hopefully I can finish this up in the next few days (delays because I've been sick off and on all week)
