On some Earth, sometime in the early 21st century, a company accidentally unleashed a contagion that seemed to infect and transform humans into vampiric-like monsters. The CEO of the company, whose own son became one of the infected, sealed his child up in a protective location and promised to find a cure. Time passed, a cure was never found, and the son of the CEO would go into a deep, hibernated slumber.

Countless years passed on, and in that time, the human race crumbled and seemingly vanished. Earth would eventually become a spot for alien archeologists and researchers to turn to to try and learn more about what was once the dominant sapient species that resided upon it. To crack the mysteries.

That was when a couple of researchers would stumble upon the container containing the still slumbering child of the now long gone CEO. Though the body of what was once a young man had long since shifted into the form of a young girl, their body shifting as they slept and dreamed, becoming more in tune with how they desired to be.

Now, this young vampire girl will find herself waking in the world of the distant future, among aliens and the stars! She would end up adopting the name 'Mira'.
