Nobody really knows where Cotton came from, not even he knows. His memory only goes back to when he arrived on Jaxx's doorstep one day randomly in 2018 and was activated. However, he feels like he was active several times before this as he's found artifacts and fragments all throughout his systems from the moment he was activated. All he had was his base code which labeled him as a "general purpose protogen designed to approximate a 20 year old male with feminine tendencies, specializing in general electronics, IT, communications, encryption, decryption." This note concerned just about everyone, especially after Jaxx and Shadow got a good look at his hardware. All they knew was that they had a cute fluffy protogen with high grade hardware and programming that was theirs to utilize.
