Today I felt like doing a little painting.
This is my little painting.
I only used three base colours for this, violet, white (mixing) and black. I quite like how it came out.
This is entirely freehand, hence the lopsidedness.

Perhaps it may not be completely symmetrical, but I say the difference between the two sides gives it a little bit of character. One could say that the butterfly is mid-flight, and maybe it's riding some wind. Either way, I think this is a pretty nice picture. How long did this take you?
