I haven't had any time to post anything about this for a few weeks, but my mother Vicky Campbell, whom the woman in the picture is based on, had ovarian cancer. I thought it was merely a bad stomachache, but it was ovarian cancer. It was stage four, and it spread through her lungs and all over her body.

Well, last night, at around 11:10 PM, she passed away from the disease, ten days shy of what would have been her seventy-fourth birthday.
