Apologies if this sounds bad. But the pronunciation of the word without translation sounds very VERY similar to a name for an unfortunate medical condition in English. I'm not trying to tease or be dirty, I know if I did the same, I would want someone to tell me.

I don't know this medical term! The word is basically made up of "Chimera" + the suffix -oid

Oh I know it translates to Chimeroid in English, but the pronunciation of the untranslated word sounds VERY similar to Hemorrhoid

Well... I don't know why I need this information. I won't rename the species. Both Russian and English have a lot of words that are somehow similar to curses or unpleasant things
