Inspector Demi Voss for the Department of Unexplained Phenomenal Events.

Demi has been working for the federal government for well over a decade now. The reason for her joining the very unsung branch was simple, she knew there was more out there and wanted to know about it. After passing the academy training at the top of her class, she was quickly put into the field and was quite adept at undercover work.

Those assignments stopped. The reason is classified and the top brass are mum about the whole affair. The older inspectors though might whisper that those scars appeared shortly before they moved her to more desk oriented work. Also that her eyes were not always a shade of slate. Rumor is she really could have moved up the chain by now but has refused promotion. No one dares ask why.

Asking Demi directly about her decision wouldn't get you much in the way of answers as she doesn't talk often. Mostly she will point to her neck wounds or whisper what few words she can.

Now she's working with Abigail on more local oddities in the Midwest region.
