Thank you to everyone who’s reached out, listened, or just held space for me. It’s been a hell of a rough time time, (which you can read here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/60806999/ ) but I wanted to share some good news now that the dust is settling. I’ve officially moved into my new place! It's shared housing, but it’s safe, it’s quiet, and most importantly it’s completely mine.

There are dogs, two of them, and whilst I think the owners are being pretty harsh on the puppy of the two, they are quite well behaved and listen.
I explained the situation to my housemates, I was honest told them my plight and am about to speak to the landlord, who seems pretty nice. IIt goes to show that there are still kind people in the world.

For the first time in what feels like forever, I have space to breathe and start looking into myself. I’ve started looking for work again on my terms, and I’m taking steps to get back into therapy now that I don’t have people breathing down my neck, telling me I'm worthless, or sabotaging the process.

This isn’t the end of the story, I'm free for now. If you're in the middle of your own nightmare, regardless if it's 10 years of being forgotten and rotting in a mental prison of your making, or as short as a couple of months of hardships, please hang on. Things can change. It’s hard and messy and sometimes terrifying, but you deserve safety, support, and the chance to heal.
