This is the final page of the "Birthday Party" storyline, and the first glimpse into Chelsea's background within the context of the comic. I've always said she was an orphan (it's even in her character description on the site), but never showed her adopted parents or any glimpse of her life behind closed doors. In the next story arc, Persephoni is going to discuss openly why Chelsea feels so isolated. Perhaps there may be a reason behind her antisocial behavior after all.
The readers will not only get a good glimpse into Chelsea's life, but also get the first clues as to who/what the Guardians are. At the same time, Peter and Iggy will be getting into some trouble, which will finally give Iggy some much-needed time in the spotlight. The new arc kicks off next week.
Yay for regular updates!

Nothing makes me feel sorry for Chelsea. She brings all her misery on herself. Circumstances are what they are. How we react them them is what's important. She reacts by lashing out. And she's picked someone who is smaller, weaker, and less able to defend himself. No matter how you slice it, she's a bully, and she'll get her comeuppance in the end.
So now we see more of the difference between normal and elite guardians. And how they're not so infallible after all (though I admit, this situation is extremely frustrating for Persephone--I don't blame her).
And asking Eddy to go home? Means Eddy is in some sort of position of authority over them... hm, I see a hierarchy developing here. Good info, Jon! I'm really enjoying where the story is headed.

Wow! There must be so much we still don't know about Chelsea, Persephoni, the Guardians, Eddy,...
And, don't get me wrong, I think it's awesome that we'll be learning more about the characters and the storyline in the following pages; but when will we get to know if Whitney is ok??
