Anyway, as far as I know I'm probably the only person in the Ginga fandom making monkey OC's lol, but I just love Pepe from the GDW manga that much I wanted to do more with his story after the Monkey Arc

Since Pepe was orphaned at the start of the arc, I gave him a new adoptive mom in the top left corner. Fun fact Imo is actually based on a real life Japanese macaque of the same name who was observed washing sweet potatoes in a stream and other monkeys eventually learned her behavior. She very much does the same thing in the Ginga universe, even teaching her potato washing techniques to her adoptive son

On the bottom right is Pepe now as a strong healthy adult, now the leader of his troop along with his wife Momo and his son Sun (named after Sun Wukong aka the Monkey King from Chinese mythology). I imagine adult Pepe still revisits Weed and the Ohu army every now and then, probably introducing his kid to Weed's kids
