His patron is Nyarlathotep, an eldritch entity that was bound to a ring that Viak stumbled across and donned, giving him Warlock powers.

His parents are two Tabaxi that adopted him when he became separated from his group as a fresh hatchling, and his mother absolutely spoils him.

He is, as many Kobolds are apt to be, mischievous, somewhat dim, and entirely adorable.
