I thought the sun was so beautiful and warm that I gazed at it’s glow until it burned and blinded me, and now… I fear the daylight.

It’s official guys!! I made my first ever art print! I’m sending a few with someone I know to my first ever convention sale?? Like?? I’m so excited, even if nothing sells, people might see my work and that’s enough!! This piece was made because of a recent breakup I’ve gone through. The sun is NOT my ex, the sun is relationships and vulnerability as a whole. The feeling of having to leave someone you loved so much, felt so comfortable with, and gave all your vulnerability to, because of how the toxic relationship effected your mental health, your actions, and how you view relationships and trust in general now. Safe to say… I don’t want to be in the daylight for awhile. Some me-time in the shade is my focus. 💕

This is another reasons commissions have been taking awhile. Not only am I sending Art to my first ever convention, but I’m going through a breakup with someone I was planning a life with. 4 years of lies and deceit left me crushed and struggling with my mental health. We officially broke up ack in November and I’m only finally getting back onto my feet. I’ve been really trying. I promise I’m getting better now. <3
