I see now why you said this one would need more detail. Holy smokes. :) I love what you did with the iris, giving it that curious marbling that hints at a plausible mechanism for his mood-eyes. Delightful. :) Would you be able to make the scales a little whiter, or would that throw off the color balance for the whole piece?
