More workshopping for the dungeons and dragons lore building...I guess Dungeons and Dragons isn't quite the right term. I guess a D&D-like. I worked on a series of robot designs for military purposes in universe. There were a lot of different inspirational influences for this series of designs. Fallout, Jonny Quest/Venture Bros, Bioshock, general retrofuturist robots...but this first one largely centered around the classic 'Walking Eye' stealth drone type bot. I honestly still haven't decided which 'eye style' to go with. I was leaning more toward the realistic eyeball projection...but that was before we established a race that worships a mad robot god hivemind, and fuses it's own citizens with metal to become one with it. I'll probably go with the Hal 9k in the long run.

Since the war these things would be used in is on another continent, and the sea is largely non-traversible due to the hazardous sea monsters, a lot of these things are made to be air dropped via large, largely magic supported flying fortresses. You don't see it on this sheet, but the armored legs are designed to clamp together into a kind of javelin for easy dropping as well as defense. Despite the turrets or laser, this is largely meant to be a non-combat robot. It can only handle a few troops at a time, it's not meant for front line offense. It's a stealthy black sentinel, meant for recon. The supressed weapons it is equipped with are meant to snuff out looky loos and lookouts with relative silence.
