Promotions are nice, don't get me wrong there. Sadly, how well you use said promotion, makes all the difference. Power without skill, creativity, and the raw willpower to use it is wasted talent after all. And for all his little, well, not so little, means anymore. The dear and fun spymaster, was a capable sort. And I still have a gut hunch if I ever manage to see where this goes, that she is going to find refuge of a unique sort in the lothanosa temple when the blinds get alot higher than they are now. But glad to make it, now if i can forge the night, you'll be set.
Oh no, but I take such compliments in the highest regard. I just have a little gift of seeing paths of what both human creativity can make in a situation, and that I hope to have drifts angle down. And I would think that in part, I would seek to dream rightly, alexis herself to what her axi are in regards to her aspirations. Given that drift, has a streak, both of his own temper, and so rapidly adapts, shifts and adjusts to both what is strange, new, and under pressure (A gift indeed.) He would, or could take her there, that she isn't breaking any neutrality, because she is under the aegis of another, and thus, by technicality, holding true to the rules, but effectively placing her beyond reach of a demon lord. And I really want to see this done, because darnit, I like the stories you write with the layers, its so fun to enjoy figuring what the words really mean.
Trespassing implies you are there without consent. But you raise a great point, that she meandered to close to a warded place, that was meant to keep her kind out and away by unraveling what she is made of. But, would she allowed to enter on good behavior, a geas, a means of self binding, akin to what she did once already, to allow her passage into holy ground? Or another possible, if she was invited by a priestess or priest that was tied to such a place? (Raven strikes me as the one to ask, given her many askances already to drift.) If she broke the rules, however she accepted the means of passage, then she would be breaking both her neutrality, and deep in holy ground, quickly annihilated by the energies of that place. But so long as she was a good guest (albeit a very guarded one), would she not have a measure of protect and amnesty?
