Sister Mary, my d&d character from the 'dragon trilogy' set of games (Featuring Tiamat!)
Sister Mary is a battle monk / nun who is a follower of helm, who believed in a different way of fighting compared to that of most helmites. Given Helm is usually the follower of guardsman and paladins, she wanted to create a new belief of paladins who would be protectors of settlements, rather then crusaders.
Post campaign, Mary is now a leader of her own branch of the helm organization, teaching others to become battle monks of their own while teaching the belief's of helm. She is serious, yet kind.
She is a a monk of Astral self, and can manifest her spirit. Ironically, despite her looks as an older woman (being 60, but she's an aasimar so she's like still got the body of like a 30 year old) she can project her true self through her astral self, which was her during the time of fighting dragons and fighting a war! She was notably bustier, and more muscular then too. But she has mastered her astral form so much that she can merge with it, returning to her prime for some time.. both to enemies horror, and allies delight.
