An old friend and follow contender with Dr Joy days back in their days of competing in the Pokken Fighting League. Lei Chi once wowed the crowds with her stunning fighting style in the ring with a combination of poise, agile and strength making her a rising star in the league.
Since retiring from professional sports and entertainment, Lei Chi has turned to her second passion, cooking, opened a restaurant dinner, which thanks to her fame and the delicious cooking that served there, has become very successful.
A side effect of this success is due to her habit of extensive taste testing, as well as an overindulgence of meals suited for a more active lifestyle had soon lead to Lei Chi gaining a massive amount of weight, ballooning from a once lean sender fighter into a massive blimp who's fighting style now become something more alike to what some people would mistake as something vaguely be mistaken as sumo.
However. despite her newfound girth and size, Lei Chi still maintains a bright and cheerful personality, welcoming to her customers and willing to chat and give advice.
Since hiring more staff to help run the restaurant, it has become a more frequent sight to see Lei Chi in the restaurant, filling several seats by herself as she eats enough food to feed a bunch of Snorlaxs as a snack break.
A big draw to her restaurant is not just people coming to see Lei Chi and her big meal breaks, but also the special challenges her restaurant holds. Customers can try and eat the Special Deluxe (a particular large super sized meal.) and if they're successful in eating it all, they'll get their meal for free.
or they could even challenge Lei herself, either in an eating contest or a fighting match and earn an even bigger prize should they win.
While retired from the PFL, she has given a hand in teaching (or in some cases taught by beating their ass) Chica and Pearl on how to better fight with their newfound weight.
