For most people, starting a fire without some matches or a lighter can be a tough endeavor. But who needs either of those when you can simply breathe fire, instead? Melee's fire breath has been handy on many occasions, and not just around camp; he were can see him prepping a torch to explore some kind of dark cave-like environment. Is he simply checking to see if it's a safe place for he and his friend to take shelter in? Or is he doing some independent exploring in the hopes of finding treasure? Maybe a little bit of both...? Either way, May's ready for the task!

ArtDexo is someone whom I've been following for a few years now, but only recently did he decide to start opening up commissions. Unfortunately, I was unable to jump onto the initial first few openings due to bad timing; he had a tendency to announce his openings when I was at work, and slots would fill up completely by the time I finally got a chance to check my social media... unfortunate, that. Luckily, for this one, ArtDexo made his announcement a bit earlier than usual in the day - just a little bit before my shift started, in fact - and I was able to at last snag a slot for myself! Been wanting to get some work from Dex for awhile now, so getting this was admittedly pretty nice!

I've talked a bit before in the past about Melee's fire-breathing abilities, but in all the years I've had this character, I don't really have a lot of art showing it off, so I felt it was time to once again get some work of him putting that little power of his to use. The flames themselves are pretty mundane, with no special colors or attributes to make them distinct, and is just something that gives Melee a bit more versatility when out and about, be it as a tool or as a weapon (with severe limitations on the latter).
