So... yeah! I started a new comic series last month, it's finally coming out of Early Access today.
This story takes place in the same universe as God Slayers, at roughly the same time period, but on a different planet (in the same galaxy). It's intended to give me the freedom to explore a different setting, a different perspective, a different genre, different themes and a bit more of the shared history between these two worlds. On a less-thoroughly-devastated world, more hints of that shared history might be a little easier to uncover.
Solipsus is meant to be a bit rougher and sketchier, (though no less vibrant, cuz I like bright colors) giving me the freedom to try different art techniques and pump out pages a lot faster and hopefully more reliably than usual. This is a freedom I feel like I no longer have with my more established webcomic, as making sudden drastic experimental untested changes to its art quality at this point feels... I dunno, WRONG somehow. As a result of these attempts to strike a balance between quality and speedier output, Solipsus will (ideally), simply be more content for all without sacrificing any God Slayers uploads.
And $1 a month on Patreon TODAY will get you Early Access now to the next five pages of BOTH comics, God Slayers AND Solipsus. So ten pages instead of only five. It's double the value. :3
