Crop from the next picture. This is the best sharpness/focus I can expect to get with the old F-8 foot and a half tube of a 500mm lens I have. Wishing for a nice fixed 500mm refractor but hey, too bad eh.

Thanks! Fortunately now that I'm shooting with 12mp I should have a lot more room to use some good sharpening filters, get my chops down on those and see if I can squeak some more line out of em. Barely started. Got the blind up and eaglely awaiting some good action shots.
