Post-Apocalyptic faction - The Jungle Boys
Hawaiian shirts, M16a1 style AR-15 builds, and The Beach Boys blaring on vehicle mounted speakers.
After the "year without a winter" and the subsequent extreme temperature rise following an attempt to slow global warming that backfired, some embraced the new 90 degree decembers as far north as canada.
And in the old world city of Boston, palm trees now line the greenway, and dense tropical vegetation has taken root everywhere. Mutant vine plants that have taken control of human bodies walk the streets looking for victims, along with whatever other horrors lurk on the green streets below the overgrown buildings.
The northeast branch of The Jungle Boys consists of small groups of survivors all clad in hawaiian shirts as their uniform. They are sworn enemies with a cult of tree huggers who worship the plants as a divine offering.
In a small suburb north of Boston, a small group of five survivors make up the northernmost reach of The Jungle Boys territory.
Here we have Chris "Clean" Del-Torres. Called "Clean" because of his fear of germs and the spores that the plants give off. When the spore outbreak began following the beginning of the "meltdown" Clean was in the center of the Boston Safezone when it was overrun with plant monsters and he barely made it out with his life. Despite keeping a laid back attitude, he has a tendency to lose his cool around the spore clouds.
He found out the cult was behind the attack on the safezone, opening the gates and letting in hordes of infected. He swore to put an end to their entire operation. And killing cultists along the way was a plus for him.
Clean and four other survivors make up his group. They're led by Chuck who acts as the commander of the group.
They have an old Jeep thats still up and running which was owned by Chuck before the meltdown. Its quite useful when the engine doesn't sieze up from the heat or the roads aren't blocked from vegetation.
Clean's weapon of choice is a collapsible baton, Chuck has an AR-15 kitted with a vietnam era A1 handguard, "Glasses" carries a 1911, Dennis has a nail bat, and finally "Sweet" carries a scoped Remington 700 rifle.
Ammo is scarce so when they're running low and have to make trips into the city to their faction's ammo plant. Chuck, Glasses and Sweet switch to knives.
Fire is a valueble tool for their faction, as most herbicidal agents have run dry by this point.
At the beginning of the overgrowth, the military used herbicides released by aircraft to clear paths for their vehicles.
No planes are in the sky now, what fuel is left is saved for ground vehicles.
