I attached the hair into the rubber end piece on a cane - or - wrapped it in leather strap. Then attached that to a round leather disc with slots in it for the belt or harness. The whole thing then has a screw and a bit of glue to hold it together.

I got to go to IML this year... Stairs and escalators galore, plus was in a fursuit and had my saddle on too. It was a interesting time walking around lol
