I guess it’s time to draw the creepy gals now ! These three aren’t real horses but are actually entities manifested by Cyan (I got a lot of cool lore ideas, but I’m guessing we’ll get more official HRT content in the future so I’d rather not write a bunch of lore that I will have to give up on later if the official content completely contradicts it)..

Nighttime Knifemare is a representation of Cyan’s social anxiety and fear/disdain toward other horses. It’s very violent, which is mostly a self-defense mechanism.

Garbage Bin is a representation of her self-hatred and the way she views herself. It seem to be constantly crying and doesn’t seem very active and flee from conflict/danger whenever it can.

A Mysterious Figure is a mix of Cyan’s feeling of betrayal after Superstitional Realism gave up on her in their 1v1 race (go watch the official races idk), as well as an idealized version of Sup. It’s very shallow and only cares about protecting Cyan and saying by her side 24/7. It genuinely believes itself to be the real Superstitional Realism.

None of them are really malicious. They’re actually very simple beings who can be violent or self-destructive because of all the negative emotions they’re born from. They don’t really reflect on what they do nor are aware of the harm they cause since they really only follow their instinct.
