Mr. Stubs is home. Just got back a few minutes ago. He was definitely happy..he was talking to me and purring on the ride home. Then when i got out he was rubbing all over my hand, kneading my bed, and acting like he usually does - like nothing happened.
I feel bad for the poor guy..but thankfully he'll get better and used to having no eye. In fact, the technicians told me he was playing with his food and water dishes when I got back - which explains why his paws were all wet.
He actually is one of our few cats who LOVE water. Anyways, he's home, i just put him in my bathroom - away from the other kitties until he's recovered. I gave him food, water, and half a can of wet food - which didn't take him long to devour.
He's doing great..in fact, he's now meowing at me through the door - but I actually have to get going - i have things to do today.
But, I put a large comfy blanket in there with a big ol' 'pillow pal' (stuffed animal pillow) for company. I'll be giving him extra lovin's tonight..he's earned it. For now, he needs to relax. He's such a sweetheart...at least he still has one beautiful blue eye.
Sorry for the not so great photo. Taken with my phone and he was being difficult (He wanted to be held and jump and play lol)..
Anyways, commissions are still open to help get some money in...help my parents some with the debt by providing things for myself - and probably helping pay the bill too. $300.00 down was already done, but we need a little over 500$ by September to finish paying it off. Plus he has to get neutered when he's all healed and such too.
Anyways...Mr. Stubs (due to the tip of his tail being kinked) is now Mr One-eyed Stubs.
I'm just glad he doesn't have the typical attitude of a 'siamese' like our older one does - he LOVES attention. He loves everybody. The older one only likes one person and hates everyone else!
But...I'll give another update later as to how he's doing. For now..wish Mr. One-eyed Stubs good luck!
(INfo on what happened:
We think he got scratched while he was playing with the other cats, and according to the doc it is common in these cats for their eyes to swell really fast..which is what happened here. They tried to get the swelling down and nothing worked and they said they couldn't save the eye, so they'd have to remove it.But cats can live fine with one eye, and cause he's so young..his recovery rate is great. He is also negative for all infectious/contagious diseases and is extremely healthy otherwise. I know the stitched eye looks bad..but he just had surgery yesterday so its gonna look like that....He is on medication though to help speed up his recovery. =) )

Mr. One-eyed Stubs sounds like a pirate's name... Captain One-eyed Stubs..... ♥ IDK... random thought I had. XD
Yay! He's such a trooper it sounds like! I'm sure he'll be fine.. he might hold his head funny to see straight when he gets all healed up. And taking his picture is awesome proof to though who say, "You're making this up just to get cash to spend on junk..." or whatever. Cus then it's like... nope there really is a cat that needed help. :3
Goof Luck, bro!

xD Thanks! And yeah, you can see the stitches and everything. Next I could even pull up the bill with everything on it. I'm gonna try to get more pictures later with my camera so its not so fuzzy. But, I wasn't lying this time. Things will get tough. It wasn't a cheap surgery at all. x.x
