I've recently been on a dragon kick, and decided the best way to deal with that is to make more characters inspired by DragonOfIceAndFire's Destiny Intertwined comic and lore! (Please note, they're entirely for fun, I'm just sitting in my room playing with dragons)

Stiria is named after the latin word for "icecicle"; I considered adding a suffix to their name, but couldn't find one that brain liked.

They're an Ice dragon from a fairly small Ice Clan named Sleetscale, who in all honesty, is only known/considered a clan because all members of the clan end up going into either the Warfang Guard, or the Military, and thus the clan has accrued a good sum of wealth and renown.

It's because of this that their parents and grandfather, a long-standing Military Captain, were able to fool the rest of the clan into believing that Stiria's egg was Deep Blue rather than Black ice; their mother comes from a mixed clan, and was able to convince the clan elders that the midwife had mistakenly thought the 'Deep Blue' was Black, having seen the egg in the dim of night rather than the daylight. Suspicion continued until Stiria hatched, and their scales were a light blue.

With the help of their Grandfather and parents, Stiria learned to control their Black Ice far sooner than was reasonable, for the sole purpose of learning how to intentionally weaken the structure of it so it looked more like Deep Blue ice breath. Because of this, Stiria is seen as fairly weak, as the effort needed to destabilize their ice leaves them unable to do more complicated tasks.

Stiria grew up training to join the Warfang Guard, as is family tradition, and after the death of their mother, they left to join their mother's former clan, Sun Scald, as per her last wishes.

Mistralis is named after Mistral, a kind of wind that blows from southern France into the northern Mediterranean.

Mistralis comes from a large and long-standing clan of mostly Wind dragons called Shimmergale; They're an old family, and they are best known for having strong magic, and fast fliers. The clan goal is to reduce wind drag and become more aerodynamic with every new generation, thus why Mistralis is pretty smooth looking.

Mistralis was born with high hopes surrounding her, up until it was clear that her front legs were malformed in some way. She was unable to place any kind of weight on them, having to use her back legs and the joints of her wings to crawl around. She was immediately sequestered away by healers, but it became clear that she'd never get full control over her front legs. For a short while, her parents and clan elders considered culling her, not wanting her 'deformities' to sully the clan image or the bloodline, but once it was discovered that it was sheer bad luck that made her front legs unusable, her parents had them amputated to preserve her beauty.

In the eyes of the clan elders, she has very little use elemental-wise apart from one day being married off to continue the bloodline, so Mistralis has instead taken a strong interest in magic, studying it so that she can accommodate herself in day to day life. Due to her family's wealth, she's able to devote all of her time to study, with no need to get a job or profession (though, part of that is the Clan wanting her to not be seen in public).

She has three older siblings who are all very well accomplished in their fields, and two younger siblings who have high magical aspirations and show great promise. Mistralis is basically the ultimate middle child, lol.

Fortunately, they've found great friendship in eachother, and through that they can hopefully find a peaceful ending.
