More art from 2011! Wanted to try and do some color art of David, of the Spectrum Security Task Force. Yes his visor is cool as hell, and sadly no you can't touch it, it's bad enough that his husband keeps playing with it and changing important settings.

The SSTF largely have a similar uniform, but slight variations show changes in rank- at this point, he and Chaz are pretty established members of the team, and get tasked with a good deal of responsibility. Though the SSTF started off largely as just lab security, it later wound up growing and branching into the city itself to serve a growing need in handling any nonhuman incidents, from smaller and less worrisome ones to much larger affairs.

(Tackling a rogue sewercrawler in the undercity storm drainage system is one such thing, though David has also been part of an organization-wide effort to get a rather nasty group of shifters under control and brought to justice- most people are chill and normal members of society, but once in a rare while you get a guy who tears somebody's arm off in shift form for fun, and it was not a part of the job anyone found fun. He did testify at the court case that put the guy behind bars, though.)
