So! For the two NineTags art fans out there, this is ANOTHER throwback! It's basically a rendered version of one frame of the sketchpage I did for Oreo back then, but since he's now a pile of goob locked in my freezer, Catuaí is now the subject of the painting! He seems to fit the scene a little more.
Now, this painting has some qualities that I'm pretty fond of, as It's a project that involved my new knowledge about colors and rendering that I've learned recently. Mainly colors, since if you color pick the "greens" and "yellows" of the painting, you'll be able to see that the hues are much different. In this case, they only read as those colors because of color relativity, which is a simple concept that says that a color is perceived in relation to the ones around it. Here, a saturated warm red will make these different hues read as green and yellow, even if they aren't really those hues.
