Fluffmaster checked the papers on the clipboard for his soda batch. "Huh. Well, it was supposed to just be a pooltoy soda, but you're looking a little less... well you look..." Fluffmaster tilted his head to the side and scratched an ear. "How do I put this lightly? You look very... soundbytish. And I am ninety percent sure that you weren't a soundbyte when you came in..."

Bloo tried to say something, but his voice came out as a squeak. He awkwardly put a hand to his mouth.

Fluffmaster looked over the papers again. "Gonna have a stern talk with my associate about this. He's tried sampling my sodas outside of designated testing phases, and I have a hunch he may have 'sampled' the batch you took.... He, very likely, contaminated it. Usually, if someone were to stick their finger into the vat and taste it, it would turn them into a pooltoy... but what if that person was made out of polyester and spandex? Maybe..." Fluffmaster started scribbling stuff down and mumbling under his breath.

Bloo tried to get Fluffmaster's attention through several squeaks.

Fluffmaster finally looked up. "Oh, sorry, Bloo. Did you want a refund? The intended effect was improperly labeled, if it also turns you into a soundbyte. Probably still temporary, but... y'know... not what was advertised."

Bloo shook his head and squeaked. He couldn't lie - he was absolutely enjoying this.
