But it turned out pretty damn awesome, I think, so I'm uploading it here anyway.
This character belongs to Dark-Bliss over on dA. It was a thank you picture that was GOING to be really simple and easy, but then as I was sketching it I was like, 'I want a really cool pose!' and then that cool pose turned into something that needed a background. ;w; At that point I /was/ just going to do some simple cg, have it lined and stuff, but then I was like 'WHAT THE HECK' and decided to try practicing with painting in greyscale and then gradient mapping again.
I think it turned out pretty dang bossin'. I kinda rushed it right at the end 'cause I needed to go to work and I wanted to upload it to dA before then. ;u; So it probably could still use some fine-tuning, but whatever. Calling it done.
Anyway, yeah. Girl named Shira, who likes bread, mustard, and has a lion plush. XD The leek is just there because I find them funny.

Srsly.
I remember doing a picture a while ago with trees int he background. And I spent FOREVER doing and redoing the trees and trunks. ;w; Finally sorta figured out a way to do them, but I still hate leaves. xD
Gods, they're such a pain. So I can totally understand. orz

I know FA doesn't have rules against human art. XD
Just, generally, I like to keep my non-furry stuff to my dA account, and my furry stuff here. Just to keep things nice and clean. If there's a picture I really like, though. Ffft. I goes to both places. ;w;
