The day had not gone the way he wanted, and all he had to show for it was a sore cheek and a mind full of questions. But at this moment, he was more focused on Tu Li tending to the red mark on his cheek. But when the cotton soaked with rubbing alcohol, he felt the sting.


Mikey: Ow! Man this stings more than I expected!


Tu Li: That mark you got is really red, and looks like it's starting to swell. It's not a surprise it would hurt a lot. But what even did this to you?


Mikey: I really wish I knew myself. But I never got a good look at who did it. And what my hook caught was gone too. All I know is that it was made of seaweed. But that's it.


Tu Li: Sorry you had a rough day, sweetie. I know things will be different tomorrow.


Mikey: Thanks, Darling.

And here we have the end of this little sequence of events from Mikey's side. Looks like that slap to the face was a lot more painful than expected ;) . Then again I'm sure a tail fin is a lot stronger than a hand. But at least Tu Li is there to tend to him :) . Though the question remains, will Mikey and Emily's paths cross again one day?
