I don't think it would be hard to remove the show-through on the lunch-ticket you drew on. I could give it a try with Photoshop....

Then again, there's no show-through in her ears and face, so I suspect this is the way you want it.

I've done stuff like it, though not in years. I recall... but never mind. I thin the oddest thing I've done is draw a cartoon showig dead fanartists in heaven. That's not so strange, but I used a blank piece of paper that I knew was over 40 years old to draw on.

If she were this age in the 80s, that would put her at about 50 now. I was a kid in the 80s and I'm 31 now.

I was imagining her as a teen in the image, and thus in her thirties now (assuming most of her comic strips take place in contemporary times).

Still, a teen in the 80s would put her much older. I was born in 1980, and am 31 now. My husband was born in 1970 and is 41. My dad was in his 20's in the 1980s, he was sort of a punk :P I was raised well.

I was a teen for part of the Eighties and I am still in my thirties. It depends on when in the Eighties that pic was suppose to happen in. All of this is moot though if she is truly "ageless", just though it be cool if she was in her thirties now because you don't see many fandom characters placed in that age bracket.

You know, "Candi Through The Ages" would be an interesting theme for a portfolio or series of art pieces for conventions. Candi as a flapper, as a beatnik, as a 'Rosie the Riveteer', as a sufferagette, etc.
