'The Seeker'

The original codename for what C3 ended up being when writing this story. In fact, finalizing C3's character was one of the later parts of this story. World and story points came first, and C3 became the conduit to connect the two.


These are early drawings of C3's new armor I created sometime back in January. They started as a new reference sheet before they evolved into something a bit more.

Was never really certain when would be a good time to upload this piece, and still uncertain if this is the right time. But I've held onto it for over 4 months so its probably time to let it out, otherwise it may never do so.

Things to improve on:
- Shoes/feet look terrible. Later depictions of C3's armor during the #40 VS #32 encounter have improved on this, but still blocky.
- Ears. Never could decide if a modest or larger size suits C3. I experiment with this in later chapters, but still undecided.
- Depictions of anomalous power. I know what it should be, and how it interacts with people and the world around. But there is a scale at play, not all wielders of this power are equal in abilities or strength. I think what is shown here is pretty accurate for someone at the bottom of the power scale. More on stronger wielders will come in the future.
- Depictions of the Void. Can't really say much about this place without getting into spoilers. But its a place that can intertwine with the planet of Sol. And sometimes, reflecting various locations and aspects of Sol with some distortions, as C3 has encountered.
