He’s a an experienced treasure hunter how’s let himself go in his later years just a little bit as he would put it.
He goes into old ruins, temples, and dungeons to collect old treasure either because he was paid to so by his clients or on his own accord to sell it himself.
Being an experienced treasure hunter has led him to become over confident in his abilities. Hubris occasionally puts him back into his place in the form of falling for traps that he normally wouldn’t set off. Leaving him stuck in some unfortunate circumstances until someone else finds him later.

Think very cartoonish antics and the occasional tf hijinks for the most part. ;)
