It appears Lletywr has caught sight of someone. Lucky them, the creature or manifestation could easily be mistaken as a trick of the eye should one blink or look away. The moonlight above does little to hide any real ominous nature of the thing. Shapes and form are there but are they really? The skull, one of a goat, is clearly real. The runes etched onto the forehead giving it a noticeable look. Maybe the whole ordeal could be a mere thought, a light scare, if it weren't for those hollowed sockets giving the faint deadlights of eyes.
Lletywr means no harm. Though, at first glance, it does seem rather intimidating. She's just curious. While her bond to Lilian was almost instantaneous, the skull does seem to 'blink' in and out of existence at times. Bearing witness to full shadow form of it is extremely rare. While Lletywr does stay around the witch often, they also seem to gravitate around the abode in the coven. Maybe it has something to do with the rune?
Coming across the skull was quite the find for the feline. She saw many a runes etched inside the skull as well when giving a peek through the neck hole. How they came to be and for what purpose is a mystery only time may hopefully tell. Nana has only known bits and pieces of information about such things dating back even before her time. The most obvious knowledge is that whatever made them knows and can use dark magic. A forbidden form of spellbinding that can take from the user the more it's used. If he inhabitant haunting the skull is the owner, were they willing or forced into the prison-like state?
The few other things Nana knows of them is that they have been mentioned once or twice in passing, almost like a tale of long lost, but referred to as the 'Cysgwerin'. A compacted term, simply meaning shadow folk. While there are indeed others, it's impossible to know how many as rare as the sightings are. Maybe some have passed during a yawn or when a breeze forces your eyes shut for just a split second. Their shadow forms seem to be unable of moving while you look, even if trailing ends seemingly flow. The skull is the main attraction of these beings. There and gone in a flash and sometimes without sound. Can you feel the ethereal shadows of their form? Can you hold their arm? Nobody quite knows.
Lletywr is a playful cysgwerin. Showing up when she wills or called, bringing items in her skeletal maw, or just watching the constant hustle and bustle of Lilian and her adventures. The shadow form towers above the witch easily though the exact height is unknown do to the stature. Perhaps all of the shadow folk are just as tall when revealing their forms or maybe it's just simply the prior species' intimidating height. Lilian hasn't seen too many goats, so she isn't quite sure herself. The dark magic used to create such a being could have malformed the entity's own appearance just as much. Questions love to chase answers and Lilian would enjoy knowing more, but that seems to be for another time. Asking as turned into a one-sided conversation, as it always does with Lletywr, seeing as speech isn't among something they can do. Still, the company is rather nice.

Lletywr belongs to me~
Want to make your own cysgwerin? Go for it! While they don't physical move or talk, or do a whole lot for the most part, a little haunted companion isn't too bad to have, is it?
