So I decided to create a sona for my mom for Mother's Day because in the past she's seen my artwork and has requested one before. I've always either been too busy or just never had the motivation for it. I decided on using a beagle because she's had several over the years has pets.

This sona's features somewhat resemble her last beagle named Ginger, so that's most likely this character's name. I let her decide on what to name her, though she was more impressed with the design to care much about what the name was at the time I showed her it printed out in a frame.

This was my first ever attempt at using Krita since my last computer's crash killed my last art program. I attempted to make some kind of background out of blotches of color, shaped, and filters... but just found this One Piece sunflower background fit much better. That's the only part I didn't do myself.
