If you can run through the Ancient City without falling or running into a wall with full saturation with a speed effect .... You can sometimes outrun a Warden until it loses interest in you. I have done that before. Take off down a wool thing, jumping gaps. Stay JUST far enough ahead and the sonic boom won't reach you but get caught on one thing and you are dead xD

I remember not long after the warden update dropped, one of my friends had the bright idea to bring our little friend group (4 people including me) down into the deep dark with hardly any armor to kill a warden. We all died at least 20-ish times each, but we did finally kill him.

That is, until my friend spawned in FOUR MORE…
Needless to say, we tried for like an hour to kill them before giving up because most of us had to go by that point.

I updated because of the bigger build height. I had seen something about the warden, but entirely forgot about it.

I saw it, and was like "holy fuck what mod is this? This thing is cool." Then "Oh that's not a mod."

"Oh fuck it's coming after me"

"FUCKFUCKFUCK IT'S FAST"

Proceeded to die to it 4 times.... came running back a fifth and then died to fall damage after being shrieked off a ledge. xD I was like "IT SENT ME FLYING????"

.... I've loved the thing since. They're so neat and fun.

Yeah, that probably sums up the thought process of anybody fighting the warden for the first time, especially now that many new players may not even know about it.
