After Scarface's death, Friendly has been a bit bitter towards the blue foxes, even though they have left their territory in White Deer Park a long time ago. Except of course Ranger, Charmer's mate. But in that time he has started to mature with his kindness towards Ranger and still maintains loyalty to his father, even his nephew, Plucky. Friendly lives alone in part of the woods in the nature reserve and is well used to being by himself.

He has neither a mate nor cubs, but still he has some bitterness left towards the other blue foxes who are so cruel and mean to his family and friends, he doesn't even know if the others are as kind as Ranger. But then one day in the afternoon, a rare vixen appears, which turned out to be a blue fox of course. But this vixen is so quite attractive, lovely, intelligent and honest.

Friendly sat down calmly and let her come a little closer to him and study him a little closer. This blue vixen is so similar to Ranger's mother and Scarface's mate, Lady Blue. But her fur is a little darker and has light blue markings from mouth to tail. She sniffed him a little cautiously and felt that he seemed so calm and nice. Friendly's lips changed from his worry to a happier smile.

Friendly: "Who are you and what are you doing here, anyway?"

The dark blue vixen suddenly stood still behind him and stared at Friendly for a short minute, until she smiled at him and obviously wanted to answer his question.

Russet: "My name is Russet. I'm Ranger's cousin. And you don't need to feel threatened by me. In fact, I'm a very kind, friendly and honest vixen."

Then she moved a little and made sure their eyes met. Friendly probably thinks that Her body is so incredibly thin, she's a little smaller than the big and strong red fox is. But when she sat down in front of Friendly with her half-closed eyes staring at his gaze, she smiled seductively and thinks that he looks so cute and strong.

Russet: "You must be Bold's brother, right?"

When Friendly heard her question, he swallowed a little nervously and tried to control himself against the beauty of this dark blue vixen.

Friendly: "Yes, I'm Friendly. But how did you know who I am?"

Russet: "My cousin told me that he first met Bold when he entered their territory. Or rather, was their territory. He also says that he met your sister, Charmer, who is such a lovely and adorable red fox. And then he got to meet you, of course."

Friendly: "Yes, that was from the time we were enemies, of course, I despise those blue foxes and their cruelty. Until they moved further away from this White Deer Park to some other place far away, after Scarface died. He was also the one who killed my other sister, Dreamer."

Russet: "Oh yes. I happened to know that rumor and I am truly sorry about your sister's death, as well as your big brother's passing."

Friendly: "But my brother has a mate who is still alive, she has already raised two fox cubs. And one of them is my nephew, Plucky. He has apparently taken over the leadership from his grandfather, Fox. Yes, Fox is my father if you know what I mean."

But Russet giggled a little with laughter and nodded at Friendly in response and continues to stare at him.

Russet: "I already know that you are the second son of the famous fox from Farthing Wood. But I thought you were going to be the new leader of all the animals in Farthingland?"

Now it was Friendly's turn to laugh a little at her important question. Admittedly, he has some kind of pride, but he doesn't have much need to become or be the leader for the animals of farthing wood. But still, he is a loyal and very kind fox and carries an old forest oath, just like his parents.

Russet: "What's so funny, huh?"

Friendly: "Hehehe... So you thought I was going to take over my father's place as the leader? Is that why you're here?"

Russet: "Oh no, no, no, no, no! I'm not interested in meeting any red fox who is the leader. On the contrary. I'm here to meet you simply."

When Friendly heard what she said, his eyes widened in surprise and blinked a few times.

Friendly: "On me?! Why did you want to meet me?"

Russet: "To see what kind of red fox you are, of course. Everyone says you walk around alone in this White Deer Park and don't have a mate or cubs. But maybe we can change that."

Then she got up on all fours and slowly walked forward and came even closer, until her nose was a few centimeters close to the nervous red fox's nose. Friendly didn't know what to do about this situation. But his nervous eyes stared at Russet's half-closed gaze and noticed that her eyes were twinkling with love.

Russet: "Besides, I think you're my kind of red fox that I wanted to meet and be with you. Don't you want to hang out with me as a friend and have me as your mate?"

Russet's question made Friendly feel a little insecure. Although he has left all of the tragic incident behind him, his bitterness towards the other and evil blue foxes is too strong. Like his pride.

Friendly: "I don't really know, Russet. To be honest, I'm a little bitter about the evil blue foxes. And I can't even trust them."

But Russet smiled seductively and thought he looked so cute when he felt so nervous about her. Finally she said in a soft and seductive voice.

Russet: "But you can always trust me, Friendly. You can trust me..."

Then Russet put her lips to his, giving him a loving and passionate kiss with her eyes closed. Friendly was a little surprised at first, but when he got to taste of her kiss, his eyes closed and feel relaxed and enjoyed her lovely kisses instead. He swallowed his own pride and prejudice against the evil blue foxes who are long gone and gave Russet a few kisses back.

After they finished kissing, Russet smiled very big and looked at her future mate with her half-closed eyes. Friendly breathed a little easier with his open mouth and looked at Russet with half-closed eyes and smiled very satisfied. Even though it was unusual to be kissed by a dark blue vixen, it was still the first time for Friendly.

And he can also see in her half-closed eyes that she is truly honest, kind, caring, and has no reason to want to hurt him, or his family and friends. Which means that Friendly can trust the pretty and lovely dark blue vixen and of course wants her as his friend and possibly his mate.

Friendly: "I trust you, Russet. I trust you... And to be honest, you're not just a rare blue vixen. You're so lovely too."

Russet: "Oh Friendly..."

Russet's eyes filled with tears of joy and feels so happy and trusted. She gave Friendly a lick-kiss on his nose, making him blush a little red from his shyness. Later in the evening both Friendly and Russet walked together side by side, they really enjoy each other's company and eventually became the inseparable pair in the nature reserve.

Friendly's family and Russet's cousin later found out about their relationship and were so happy that Friendly and Russet got to meet and then be together. Both Friendly and Russet will in due time have the fox cubs and become the proud parents in the safest peace in all of White Deer Park.

There are different artworks and visions on Russet's appearance and also the inspiration from some of the books about "Animals of Farthing Wood". But this is my own creation of Russet. And I have also made a slightly different style of markings and a little better color. Because she should not resemble Lady Blue or Ranger's sister in a way.
