One day during work in UGHPD, I’ve got a call to alley around hotel. There were dozens of random dead birds bitten heavily like a sandwich. Through cameras, in less than five minutes, I found the culprit: a weird man-spider-thing I soon enough nicknamed „Bennings”. I saw it enter the hotel, so I rushed there almost instantly. The receptionist was found unconscious but almost perfectly fine. Marks on neck revealed the creature simply tried to strangle her, but it ran off, likely hating concentrated light such as that of table lamp and flashlight. Thus I went to chase it room after room till it ran to basement. In basement it tried to attack me, but I managed to outsmart it and hide till it ran back to main hall. Then I ran to see receptionist, just to get trapped by Bennings from behind. Receptionist used table lamp to make the creature drop me. Then I ran around and struck from other side with flashlight, preventing any escape. It was howling like a heavily wounded animal. Then I saw some syringe on its belt and, with instinct, stabbed creature’s backside. It turned to be an antidote as the creature changed into a human it was and as the man thanked me, he got unconscious. Then I found that he was solitary doctor who was researching and experimental formula based on spiders genetic materials and of course he was experimenting himself. As seen, the latest one went wrong and before he could react in time, his body transformed, hence the mad case of Bennings the man-spider. How is he doing nowadays? He’s perfectly fine and continues his researches, but this time with even greater caution. Moral of this story is watch out with medicines and other chemicals because you never know how playing a doctor will really end.
