Na'eema Xerfantes held Lex's hands as he stared at her, skepticism in his eyes.

"Are you sure this is safe...?" He fretted, biting his lip with some anxiety.

He wasn't sure what led up to this. A conversation about the Riverport Rockets, then a subject hop to Void Journey, their favorite sci-fi.

Now he stood with her, the psionic wolfox's mismatched, heterochromatic eyes warmly regarding him as he felt his consciousness starting to expand.

His eyes widened as he watched the world fall away into absolute beauty.

Spirits, magical currents, thoughts, and radiant love all flooded his mind as he stared in awe.

"This... is how I see the world, Lexy." She whispered softly, squeezing his hands. "And this is how I see you..."

She let him in.

The labyrinthine depths of the mind of any Xerfantes are tidier and cleaner the younger they are and the walls of Na'eema's looked like Egyptian-painted reliefs, vividly capturing the history of her life so far. She guides him to the deepest parts of her heart and he sees himself through her eyes.

And his own flooded with tears, seeing how much he meant to her.

"I love you, Lexy."

"I love you too, Na-Na..."
