He's got to pay for his upkeep somehow! It really could be worse though. His enclosure was designed to basically be a tiger luxury resort, it's got all the latest in tiger enrichment assets. Sleeping on the ground on the open might still be a downgrade compared to a house though. At least the rent and food are free!
