being real, half the reason this wasnt posted until now was because of the site issues, but the other half is because WE CANT THINK OF A NAME FOR THIS ONE (going with Nullclip for now)
[ we want a name inspired by glitches in video games, particularly glitch characters if possible. ]

This Derg tends to get more attention than they'd like, but at least most people don't do more than stare.
"Anomalies," folks who exhibit bizarre anatomy and powers, notably known for how peaceful they can be, almost as if by nature
But even among the oddities thon were odd.
They didn't so much have a pattern, more like the pattern shone thru them. As if thon scales were a hole in the air showing some... hidden shapes behind what was seen.
The shapes, the pink squares, tend to gradually shift different directions, speed and direction depending on emotinal state. (And they go VERY wonky when intoxicated.)
They have diamond shapes on their front and back palms, which seem disconnected from said pattern.
They can fire hardlight voxels at folks from a distance, and do some burning damage.
Their tail, though plush, makes for a good limb to swing with.
Thon can clip their claws through thin surfaces to grab things, and once grabbed any object can slip through just as easily.
And though they (mostly) lack a mouth, they can still speak. A sort of... "image" displays over their head when speaking, of a koud speaker with waves of sound emitting.
Their voice, or voices rather, sound various kinds of gender, and all speak as if through a VHS filter.
All this suggests a kind of "digital" nature.
And with the Olympia Cult around, of course people have tried to lod this Derg as a messiah figure.
Olympia's religion is so confusing... Half the time its myths and legends of gods and men, and the next its giving praise to laptops and phones, or even prostetic limbs (which aren't even that good compared to custom.)
It almost seems like a scam, but legit looking texts on their Olympian gods exist everywhere, massive temples were erected for the cult in the Old World, and their main mantra seems very much like a prophecy.

That certainly seems to apply to them... But this Derg knows nothing about this "Olympia" They're meant to bring about.
Its clear that nonsense has nothing to do with them. But then THAT just makes people ask more questions to learn who they are.
Well, this derg is nobody. They have no past, they have no family, and far as they tell, they dont fit in ...
... But hey, the music here is okay. They even made friends with this Bard, Luna. She's fun.
But man, they REALLY hope nobody suspects their diaper fixation through association... Somehow THAT seems too intimidating to be outed for, at least for now...
