I had no idea that I’d actually go through with posting something like this on this account.
Well, there was a time I used to have a separate account where I posted Transformation related stuff and shut it down simply because I didn’t want people to dig it up and use it as an excuse to attack and harass me since it’s considered a fetish. (I see it more as a fascination than anything, but I can see the fetish angle, particularly when it’s spiced up the right way) But now I think it’s more important than ever that I be more honest about myself! Besides, it’s a coping mechanism I’ve used for my dysphoria that I’ve been interested in as young as at least kindergarten if you can believe it! Even as someone who is transgender, I think thoughts of changing species have been going around in my head longer than changing gender lol
I dunno why anyone in my audience would have an issue with this sort of thing when they’re using a site like Fur Affinity, but if you don’t like what I’m doing, I dunno what to tell ya….

I think there's a difference between transformation, where you just pop and become an animal, and transformation, where you see the process in great detail. The latter can indeed be considered fetish from a certain point of view. Your example is for the former - and there's nothing in that I'd consider fetish. Just magic.
Also, aren't fetishes kinda subjective? If you think transformation isn't fetish, especially if you do transformation in the magical way you did in this drawing, then it isn't fetish. If you enjoy it, it's your call. As long as you can successfully keep your real life apart from your TeslatheDog persona, you are entitled to do whatever you want—even transformation.

You know?, Ive thought several times that if for whatever reason, I get abducted by aliens, (given all Ive heard about abduction stories) ....my first screams or interactions, instead of fear, would be like "please give me a tail, give me a tail" hahaha like, when they have me in one of their examination tables or something ....like "you can give me a tail. I know you can" hahaha Im sure it would be fun to see them response to that.
